Practical Information

Welcome to Algarve Senior Open 2018.
 

This event is both a team event and an individual stroke play tournament at the same time.  

​

You could sign up for one event or both the Better Ball and the Individual event.

​

In the Better Ball event the teams consist of 2 players.
You could either sign up alone or as a team.
The score for amateurs is calculated with 3/4 hcp.

​

In the Individual event we welcome all senior golfers.*

​

*Age: 48+ in both events.

The official accommodation is at Boavista Golf Resort.

Entry Fee

Better Ball Event

​€ 50 for players staying at Boavista Golf Resort and for members of Boavista Golf.

Non members of Boavista Golf and players not staying at the hotel needs also to pay green fee € 50 per round.

​

Individual Event

€ 100 for players staying at Boavista Golf Resort and for members of Boavista Golf.

Non members of Boavista Golf and players not staying at the hotel needs also to pay green fee € 50 per round.

* Is to be paid in cash at the Golf Center
 

*There is an extra fee per event of €25 for non members of SGTE.

Accommodation includes 3 green fees, breakfast, welcome drink and dinner 24th and prize ceremony dinner 26th.

4 nights. 

Price per person sharing a twin room € 400.

Price per person in a single room € 520.

​

All apartments have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

*Nearest Airport is Faro Airport, located approx 1 hour from the resort.
