Zala Springs Senior Open 2019 is over and Rafael Benitez from Spain took his first victory on SGTE.

Alan Babicky from Czech Republic was 2nd and Fernando Roca was 3rd. Rudolf Hofer from Austria was the best amateur.

The conditions at the Robert Trent Jones Jr designed course was great and the service, food and hospitality from the Zala Springs staff was fantastic! We all look forward for the next years event in Zala Springs in May 8-10, 2020.

Jarmo Sandelin won his first title on Senior Golf Tour Europe

Mallorca Senior Open 2019 is over and the winner is Jarmo Sandelin - ex Ryder Cup player and 5 times winner on the European Tour. He had a great first round with -4. In the second round, the 2 Spanish players Jose Romero and Rafael Benitez tried their best to take over the lead, but Jarmo played a new steady round and won his first trophy on Senior Golf Tour Europe.

Welcome to Mallorca Seniors Open!

The event is open for all senior golfers age 48 and over. We will play the two great golf courses - Son Quint and Son Muntaner Golf Course. This event is played as an 18 hole Better ball event followed by an 36 hole Individual event. The event will have a maximum field of 100 players and they will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

Jose Manuel Carriles won his first title on SGTE

The final round of the Senior Golf Tour Europe Open 2018 is over and nobody could do anything with the first spot. Jose Manuel Carriles just came back from the Stay Sure Tour event on Mauritius and he showed that he is in a very good shape. It was a close race for the second spot and Richard Hassel took it just ahead of Dennis Edlund and Stephen McNully.

We are very happy to announce that 2 of the most successful senior events in Europe now will be included in the 2019 schedule of Senior Golf Tour Europe.

 

The 7th edition of Algarvian Invitational will be played January 8-12 at Pinheiros Golf Resort and Laranjal Golf Course. This event is a very popular event and the prize fund is €32.000 with a starting field of 130 players. It will be fully booked, so don't wait to register for the event! 

The 4th edition of Algarvian Charity Pro-Am is January 13-20 and will be played at Quinta Do Lago South and North, Pinheiros Altos and San Lorenzo. It is also very popular, so register your team as soon as possible to secure your spot in this great event.

Roger Roper from UK is back on the winning track again!

Roger Roper from UK is back on the winning track again! With a strong finish on the back 9 in the second round, he took the victory in Milano Senior Open 2018. He won by 1 shot over Dennis Edlund and Rickard Hassel was 3rd. Erlend Wiik was again the best amateur and increased the lead in the amateurs order of merit.

In windy conditions on a tricky course, Rickard Hassel won his first trophy at National Seniors Open 2018.

National Seniors Open 2018 - in Lithuania is over and we have new winners on the Tour!

In windy conditions on a tricky course, Rickard Hassel won his first trophy. Tim Spurgeon had a strong finish and came 2nd and Tomi Tirkkonen and Jorgen van Vuuren was tied 3rd. Tomi also won the trophy for the best amateur.

Thank you National Golf Resort for a fantastic event and a great hospitality! The atmosphere was wonderful and all players really enjoyed the event. Thank you to all sponsors, partners and the staff - you made this a memorable event and we all look forward to come back next year.

Peter Grimfjord took his second victory on his homecourse.

Peter Grimfjord took his second victory on his homecourse. It was a close race all the way to the 18th hole with Richard Hassel, who finished 2nd. Eddy Eriksson was 3rd.

The winner in the amateur net event was Erlend Wiik. He also won the better ball event together with Jorgen van Vuuren.

Dennis Edlund won Norwegian Senior Open 2018

The first victory for Dennis Edlund in Senior Golf Tour Europe!

 

The former European Tour player Dennis Edlund from Sweden played very well in Norwegian Senior Open 2018 and won his first SGTE throphy. Alexander Robertson won the first edition of Schwanhof Senior Open

The condition of the greens at Golfclub Schwanhof was as good as promised and with 30 players it become a very close race. With two good rounds of 71 and 73 Alexander Robertson took the first place, followed by Colin Monk and Gilbert Litschka only one shot behind. All players had a good time and are looking for the next year!

Jose Romero is the Andalucian Senior Open champion!

Jose Romero won the Andalucian Senior Open 2017. It was a Spanish power demonstration with 3 Spanish players in the first 4 positions. The amateur Stephen Jensen was second with 2 shots behind Jose, with Castor Lopez and Pedro Linhart on the third and fourth place. We are now moving to the Tour final at Desert Spring December 3-9. Pedro Linhart and Jose Romero won the better ball event after a fantastic second day in the better ball event. Stephen McNally and Darren Pearce had the lead after the first day, but the Spanish team played good and won by one shot. The Swedish team with Eddy Eriksson and Bo Tidebrink was third with two good rounds.

Roger Roper is the winner of Mojacar Senior Masters!

With two rounds on par (71 + 71) Roger Roper is the winner of the Mojacar Senior Masters 2017. Stephen McNally was in the lead after the first day with a score of 70, but with a second day score of 74 he finished on the second place. Laurie Turner on 3rd place with 74+75, Doug Young 4th with 75+76 and Jorgen van Vuuren 5th with 75+77.

 

We thank everybody who joined the event and are now heading to Portugal in the end of October and Montecastillo the days after, before we end up in Desert Spring for the final event in December. See you all at the next event!

Stephen McNally and Roger Roper won the better ball event in Mojacar Senior Masters. With a good score of 67 + 65, they were 6 shots ahead of Stephanie Glynn and Mark Whaler. On shared 3rd place with a score of 70 + 69 were the teams Jorgen van Vuuren + Doug Young and Laurie Turner + Phil Miles.

Peter Grimfjord took the trophy at Hook Senior Open 2017

Peter Grimfjord, the Head Professional at Hooks Golfclub played 2 solid rounds and won the first edition of Hook Senior Open. With a strong field with many ex Tour players and a golf course in perfect condition, Peter used his knowledge of the course and finished with a round of 69 shots. All the players enjoyed two fantastic days with good golf, food, spa and relaxed atmosphere. We look forward for the next year at Hooks Herrgård!

Jerome Pons won Le Trophée de Paris

Jerome Pons from France won the second edition of Le Trophée de Paris. The course set up was very tough the second day, but Jerome defended his first place after the first round.

Latest Event Released - Padova, Northern Italy

We are delighted to announce our latest Tour Event - The Padova Senior Open.

 

This will take place at the fabulous Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Galzignano Terme, Padova.

 

The tournament will be a 36 Hole Individual Strokeplay event.  Please note that the field is restricted to 54 players.

Latest Tournament Release - Losby Golf Club, Norway

The Losby Senior Open will run from the 25th to the 28th of June 2017.

 

The format will be an 18 hole Better Ball Pro Am event where each Professional will be paired with a local amateur, followed by a 36 hole Individual Event.
