Practical Information
Welcome to the 12th edition of Algarvian Invitational Golf Championships.
This event is an individual event over 54 holes, all of which are played on the two great golf courses
Pinheros Altos Golf Resort and Quinta do Lago Laranjal Golf Course.
In the event we welcome all Professionals and amateurs golfers with hcp max 14.
Current handicap certificates will be required from all amateurs upon registration at Pinheiros Altos.
Age: Professionals and amateurs 48 and over.
The total Prize fund is €32.000!
1/3 of the professional field will receive prize money.
Amateur prizes will be gross and nett overall and daily prizes.

Caddies:
Please book in advance if you wish to reserve a caddie (€50 per round) or power caddie (€20 per day, €60 for 4 days). Pull trolleys will be free.

Buggies will be allowed for players over 70 years of age.
Practice Rounds
The official practice day for the Championships will be on 2nd January at Pinheiros Altos and on 3rd January at Laranjal. To book your practice rounds email:

For the days prior to the Tournament access to the courses will be on an availability only basis and each of the courses have to be contacted individually.

The above rates are for 5 rounds of golf, 4 nights including buffet breakfast and the entry fee.

Wednesday 3rd - Practice day at Laranjal
Thursday 4th - 1st Round at Pinheiros Altos & Laranjal
Friday 5th - 2nd Round at Pinheiros Altos & Laranjal
Saturday 6th - Final at Laranjal for amateurs
- Final at Pinheiros Altos for Professionals
Prize presentation will be made straight after play at Pinheiros Altos on the 6th of January
