Welcome to Marbella Senior Open 2021

This event is a 18 hole Better Ball event followed by a 36 hole individual event,

all of which are played at the fantastic Villa Padierna Golf Resort in Marbella.

Nestled in natural surroundings of incomparable beauty beside the Mediterranean Sea sits the Villa Padierna Golf Club, where playing golf is an exceptional experience. The exquisite atmosphere with the most cutting edge facilities and customized service is all there for you to enjoy and appreciate the little details.

 

Flamingo golf course with 18-hole, 71-par course measuring 5,714 metres was designed by the prestigious architect Antonio García Garrido, known for his meticulous landscaping. It has a great variety of trees and stunning views of the Mediterranean. The greens are generous in size, but the fairways are slender on the first half of the course, where more precision is needed than on the second half. The bunkers contain white marble chips and the fairways are sown with Bermuda grass except for certain holes that use Ray grass, while the greens and tees have Penncross. Flamingos Golf has hosted prestigious golf tournaments such as the 2002, 2003 and 2004 European Seniors and the Women’s Spanish Open in 2010.

Alfarini golf course is ideal course to hold competitions and big tournaments, and also for enjoying a pleasant, relaxing day. Well ensconced in the landscape, exceptional care is taken to preserve the natural surroundings. 18 holes, 6,641 metres, par 73 and 4 tee-offs for each.

In the event we welcome all Professionals and amateurs golfers with hcp max 24. 

Current handicap certificates will be required from all amateurs upon registration.

 

Age: Professionals and amateurs 50 and over.

This event has a maximum field of 100 players and will be fully booked,

so register as soon as possible to secure your spot in the event.
