Welcome to Padova Senior Open 2026

This event is a 18 hole better ball event followed by a 36 hole individual event, all of which will be played on the beautiful golf course: Golf Club Padova.

​

The first golf course in Padua was founded in 1962 on the initiative of industrialist Igino Kofler and a group of passionate golfers under the name of the Golf Club Euganeo. The course now comprises 27 holes located in the foothills of the Euganean Hills, bordered by the 17th-century Villa Barbarigo, designed by the English architect John Harris of the Cotton studio in London.

The first 18 par 72 holes convey technical and landscape harmony at first glance, thanks in part to the valuable contribution made by another historic president of the club: Benedetto Sgaravatti.

The course is a real botanical garden with 8,000 trees and bushes chosen according to landscaping and technical criteria, revealing a unique course that winds through strategically distributed water hazards and bunkers.

Under the presidency of Ascanio Calvi di Bergolo, Padua Golf Club has reached a remarkable number of members and is consistently ranked among the best 20 Italian courses. Since 2003 the Club has had an additional 9 par-36 championship holes; these have modern technical features and allow for compelling variation on conventional rounds.

In the event we welcome all Professionals and amateurs golfers with hcp max 18. 

Current handicap certificates will be required from all amateurs upon registration.

Age: Professionals and amateurs 50 and over.
